ASUS has just unveiled its slimmest laptops to date, ZenBook UX430 and ZenBookUX530. These two ultraportable laptops are equipped with discrete GPU and deliver high performance.
UX430 model features 14-inch display and comes in two versions: UX430UA and UX430UQ. At 0.62 inches thickness and 2.75 pounds weight, it is thinner and lighter than MacBook Air. By reducing the bezel to an ultra-narrow 7.18mm ASUS was able to fit a stunning 14-inch full HD display into a svelte 13-inch chassis. Its display has a matte anti-glare coating that reduces annoying reflections to deliver comfortable viewing. The laptop has an impressive 80% screen-to-body ratio that minimizes size while maximizes productivity.
ZenBook UX430 offers astonishing performance and is powered by up to the latest 7 Generation Intel TM i7 processors with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIAGeForce ® 940 MX discrete graphics with 2GB of video memory (available only in UX430UQ model). It also features up to 512GB of super-fast SSD storage.
In terms of connectivity ZenBook UX430 is equipped with a reversible USB-C port as well as with a USB 3.1 Gen 1, a USB 2.0, a Micro HDMI and an SD card slot. For the OS, you can choose either Windows 10 Home or Pro.
There’s also an option on a backlit keyboard, and a 50Wh lithium-polymer battery could last up to 9 hours.
UX530 version has a bigger, 15.6-inch screen and except for a few hardware differences otherwise is similar to UX430.
