According to HP, the HP Z2 Mini is the world’s first mini workstation specially designed for CAD users. In fact, the Z2 Mini was made by and for design professionals as well as certified for industry standard CAD applications.
This machine has been certified to work with such software packages as AutoCAD, Inventor, MicroStation, Revit, Solid Edge, SOLIDWORKS, and Vectorworks.
There are several ports on the back of this device that allow for connecting to your choice of display, Ethernet, serial devices, USB devices and power.

Also, located on the back is a cover latch that allows for easy tool-free access into the case.
Once the top part of the case is removed, you can gain access to the internal components that give the Z2 Mini its power. You get Intel Core and Intel Xeon processor options for your configuration. NVIDA provides 3D modeling support with professional M620 graphics. This powerful workstation can support up to six displays (four native displays and two additional with daisy chaining.)
There is an integrated wireless LAN/BT that allows the Z2 Mini to be remotely accessed so that you can work remotely from the conference room to the home office.
Security is provided by advanced BIOS security via HP SureStart. There is a dual-purpose Kensington lock slot on the back of the case that provides chassis and unit security.
