High capacity power banks to keep your devices fully charged
'MUST HAVE' device when you are going to be away from a power supply for a while.
We often need extra high capacity, good performing power packs when We are out and about. These external battery juice packs really do a good job if you are going to be away from a power supply for a while.
EasyAcc Monster 20,000mAh power bank
The EasyAcc Monster 20,000mAh power bank has two charging inputs for extra fast charging and four outputs for you to charge all of your devices. There is a flashlight which is activated by double clicking the button and four power level LED indicators.
It is solidly built, smooth and feels good in the hand and comes with two micro USB cables in the box which is useful. It weighs 16oz (454g). This EasyAcc is definitely one of my favourite juice packs for its multi USB charging capability and reasonable price.
Vinsic 20,000mAh power bank
The Vinsic 20,000mAh power bank has one charging input socket and two outputs. There is an LED indicator which shows battery charge remaining. It is slim and sleek with a hard plastic and aluminium casing which feels nice to hold.
It comes with one micro USB cable in the box. It weighs 1.2 pounds (544g). At $54.90, this is one of the more expensive device chargers I looked at. If you want a slim line power bank that charges your devices multiple times, this is certainly worth a look.
Kmashi 20,000mAh quick charge 2.0 power bank
The Kmashi 20,000mAh power bank (Quick Charge 2.0) has one charging input socket and two output sockets, one is a quick charge 2.0 port. There is a bright LED flashlight activated by double clicking the power button. There are four LED charging indicator lights. The battery case has leatherette soft covering on the back and front.
It comes with one USB charge cable and weighs 1.1lb (499g). Although slim at just over half an inch (16mm), it is over four inches wide and hard to hold comfortably in the hand.
EC Technology 2nd Gen 22,400mAh external battery
The EC Technology 22,400mAh external battery has one charging input socket and three output sockets. It has a flashlight which can be switched to soft or bright light. There are four power LED lights.
It comes with one Micro USB cable and it weighs 15.4 oz (437g). It is constructed of heavy plastic and feels solid and well made in the hands. The USB ports are labelled iPhone, Samsung Tab and iPad which annoy me as the description says that the ports are compatible with almost all smart devices.
Maxoak 50,000mAh 185wh portable charger
The Maxoak 50,000mAh 185wh portable charger will charge four phones and a laptop at the same time. It does not use USB but a 16.8 volt 2.4 amp cable to speed up its own charging. There are four power indicator LED lights.
It comes with one micro USB cable, ten laptop connectors and a female to female cable. It weighs 2.77lbs (1257g) which is really heavy to carry along with my devices. This juice pack cannot charge laptops that require over 5A DC current, nor Apple laptops.
